Rain activities had seen a reduction over Gujarat during last 24 hours. However, now, rains will once again resume over the state today and we do expect light to moderate rains today in eastern districts of Gujarat. Cities of Tahod, Panchmahal, Chhota Udaipur, Narmada, Tapi, dang may see rains today.
On the other hand, tomorrow, rain activities are all set to increase over many districts of Gujarat including Ahmedabad, Anand, Khed, Narmada, Bharuch, Vadodara, Gandhinagar, Narmada, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Navsari, Valsad will see moderate rains with one or two heavy spells.
Meanwhile, as the deep depression will move further westwards gradually, and its maximum impact of this system will be seen over Gujarat on august 9. During that time, heavy to very heavy rains may be seen in parts of Gujarat. Particularly, Saurashtra and Kutch may see heavy rains in many parts. Good rains will also be seen over the Gujarat region.
By August 10, rains will reduce over most parts of Gujarat, however, northern regions of the state may see light rains with one or two moderate spells including the cities of Banaskantha, Palampur, Rann of Kutch, and Patan.
Thereafter, weather activities will subside significantly over the entire state of Gujarat.
