The city of Bengaluru has been witnessing light rainfall activity in the last couple of days. However, rains have not seen anything significant. In the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Monday, Bengaluru recorded 1.3 mm of rains.
Bengaluru saw very good rains in the second week of December, crossing the monthly mean by a huge margin. In fact, during that time, the city recorded a good six days of rains. The last ten days did not see any rains, drying up.
Now, between December 25 and 26, city saw some light rains. Today, there may be isolated light rains with clouding in some parts. Thereafter, weather where once again go dry over Bengaluru and rainfall activity will continue to cease for at least the next 5 to 6 days.
