The regions of Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, as well as Northeast India, are all set to see some heavy rains in the coming days. Rains will be heavier over Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim along with Assam and Meghalaya.
Moderate rains are likely over these areas on March 18. Heavy showers may be seen on March 19 and 20. The rest of Northeast India will not see very intense rainfall activities but will see rains. From March 21 until 23rd, rain will be confined over Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
Further, around March 24 to 26, rains will be shrinking over the state of Arunachal Pradesh. All these pockets for now are in the deficit category between 75 and 95 percent for the month of March so far.
