The recent spell on February 7 has completely changed the weather scenario over Delhi and NCR area. Since then, Delhi has been experiencing pleasant weather with cool breeze during the days followed by cold nights. Moreover, pollution levels have also improved significantly and most places of Delhi as well as adjoining areas of Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad are recording pollution in ‘moderate to satisfactory’ category now.
According to Skymet Weather, dry weather conditions will prevail over Delhi and NCR area until February 12. Thereafter, in wake of Western Disturbances which will be approaching in quick successions, sky conditions will become partly cloudy on February 13. However, bright sunshine will persist during day hours. February 14 onwards, spell of rain and thundershower along with strong winds will start over the region. Thus , we predict, Delhiites to celebrate this Valentines with the most romantic weather by drenching in showers of love.

The bad news is, approaching system will lead to an increase in the pollution level. As a result, most places will record AQI between ‘moderate’ and ‘poor’ category on February 13. However, once the rains start touching the region and strong winds start blowing over the region, air quality will significantly improve.
Further, with the approaching systems, temperature pattern will also under a change. Minimums which are at present around 6℃, would gradually rise and come close to 14℃. Similarly, maximums will also rise and settle around 27℃.
