Multiple areas of North and East Rajasthan have been experiencing good rain and thundershower activities for the past 24 hours. Weather in the city of Jaipur has been running dry from the past one month. However, light rains have been observed here as well during the last 24 hours.
These weather activities were observed in the wake of a Cyclonic Circulation that was persisting over North Rajasthan and its adjoining areas.
In fact, Jaipur has been observing intense spells of rain and thundershowers today. Looking at the forecast, we expect scattered rains along with thundery activities in North Rajasthan for the next 24 hours.
The northern districts of Rajasthan such as Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Bikaner, Sikar, Alwar, and Ajmer may continue to receive rain and thundershowers until tomorrow.
Hailstorm activities are also likely in North Rajasthan during the same episode. Also, maximums are likely to rise by two to four degrees due to the persisting cloud cover and ongoing rainfall activities.
By March 7, the rain belt will start shifting eastwards. And, at the same time, the rainfall activities will subside further leading the maximums to rise.
