Unseasonal rains have made on and off appearances over both Central as well as East India. Now also, rains are expected to make an appearance over both the regions starting tomorrow.
Rains will begin from the Madhya Pradesh region tomorrow and continue until February 19. Thereafter, rainfall belt will cover the areas of Chhattisgarh on February 19 and 21.
Thereafter, eastern regions of the country will begin to witness rains including areas of Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal on February 20 and 21. The rainfall spread will be more over the eastern side while being lighter over the states of Chhattisgarh as well as Madhya Pradesh.
This rainy spell will also cover many parts of Northeast India around February 21. These rainfall activities will be attributed to the many Disturbances which will push the Anti Cyclone to the east. This will result in convergence of winds from the Bay and the North, causing some rains over the region.
