Back to back Western Disturbances are approaching the Western Himalayas. Following this trend, another Western Disturbance will soon make its presence over the northern hills, which would result in different weather activities over the plains of the country.

According to Skymet Weather, the system will approach on March 25 and will also induce a Cyclonic Circulation over West Rajasthan. This combination will result in scattered rain and thunderstorm activities along with isolated dust-storm activities over western and northern parts of Rajasthan on March 25 and 26. Light rains are also likely in Delhi and its adjoining areas such as Noida, Gurugram, Ghaziabad and Faridabad during this period.

Places like Hanumangarh, Sri Ganganagar, Churu, Jhunjunu and Alwar in northern parts of Rajasthan , while Jaisalmer, Bikaner and Barmer in West Rajasthan may see rains.

March 27 onward, as the weather systems will start moving away eastwards, we expect weather to gradually start clearing up and to go completely dry on March 28.

This will consecutively be the sixth Western Disturbance, however with reduced intensity this time to make an approach. As we head towards the end of March, the intensity of Western Disturbances will keep reducing, while the month of April may witness feeble weather systems forming over the country.
