The hills of North India have been seeing pleasant weather conditions with frequent appearances of rains in the past few days. All thanks to the back to back Western Disturbances which have been the cause of good weather over the region. In fact, higher reaches have even seen some snowfall activity.

However, the last 24 hours have been mostly dry as the previous Western Disturbance moved away eastwards giving way to dry weather for a brief amount of time.

Now, a fresh Western Disturbance is approaching the hills of North India. Its induced Cyclonic Circulation is over Central Pakistan. Thus. scattered rains are expected over many parts of Jammu and Kashmir along with isolated pockets of Himachal Pradesh. On the other hand, the state of Uttarakhand will remain dry with rainfall being on the backseat only.

Moreover, the higher reaches of the state of Jammu and Kashmir including Sonmarg, Gulmarg, Pahalgam may also witness some snowfall activity.

Not only this, temperatures have seen a drop in many parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand since the last few days and may see a dip even further, in the coming days.
