October began with a bang for Hyderabad in terms of rains. During the last couple of days, the city of Hyderabad is receiving light to moderate rains and thundershower activities. Moreover, just yesterday the city surpassed its monthly average of 103 mm rains already in just of October beginning.
During the last 24 hours also, the Hyderabad city has received 0.9 mm rains. All these weather conditions are prevailing due to the presence of a Cyclonic Circulation over Andhra Pradesh and adjoining region in the lower levels.
Since this system is persisting while weakening very slowly, spells of light to moderate rain and thundershower activities are likely to continue over Hyderabad and adjoining regions.
These rains are likely to continue during the next three to four days. These rains will be mostly seen during the late afternoon, evening and early parts of night as is typical of the post-Monsoon season.
At present, the city has been generally seeing cloudy sky conditions with pleasant mornings. Days are mostly slight warm and humid.
During the upcoming days, the night temperatures are likely to remain between 21 to 23 degree Celsius while day temperatures would be between 30 to 32-degree Celsius.
