Telangana along with its capital city of Hyderabad has been reeling under hot wetaher conditions ever since the Monsoon has started retreating from the parts of the country.

Absence of Monsoon surge has paved way for warm and dry winds over entire Northwest and Central India. According to Skymet Weather, anti-cyclone over central parts of the countryhave been infusing  hot inland winds from Rajasthan, leading to steep rise in the mercury, particularly maximum temperatures.

If we look at last 24 hours, weather over the state of Telangana remained hot and dry, with temperatures settling in higher 30s. There was no noticeable rainfall activity over the state thst could give some relief.

However, there is some respite is in sight from the prevailing hot and dry weather conditions. As per weathermen, a cyclonic circulation has formed over Southwest Bay of Bengal, due to which humid winds from Bay of Bengal are reaching over Telangana.

Now with these humids winds encountering dry and hot winds from Rajasthan will lead to formation of zone of convergence. This would eventually lead to development of thunderclouds over the state, bringing scattered rains and thundershowers. On and off patchy rains are expected during the next 24 to 48 hours, which may bring in some relief.

There would be a slight drop in mercury. However, this relief would be short lived as weather will soon become dry once again thereafter.

Monsoon 2018 ended on a normal note for Telangana, with mere deficiency of 2%.
