The state of Maharashtra is expected to see some rainfall activities in the coming days. Moreover, the Madhya Maharashtra as well as Marathwada region is expected to observe rains in the coming days.
Rainfall activity will be more over Madhya Maharashtra, particularly the southern parts including Sangli, Satara, Pune, Kolhapur, Sholapur etc. Weather activity will be stronger and isolated hailstorm may be seen as well.
Adjoining parts of Marathwada may see moderate rains but hailstorm may not be seen. The reason for these rains can be attributed to the extension of the Peninsular trough across Karnataka up to Madhya Maharashtra region. A convergence zone of north and south winds have also formed, which will further enhance the rains.
Rains will be seen on April 7, 8 and 9. Rainfall will be seen more on 7th as well as 8th. Residual rainfall is expected on April 9 as well.
