Updated at 3:20 PM: Delhi rains begin, more showers likely tomorrow
As reiterated by Skymet Weather, rain in Delhi has begun. In fact, eastern parts of the city have started to see some rains and rain belt will cover more areas of the national capital including the NCR region. Moreover, the intensity is expected to increase tomorrow.

Delhi and its adjoining areas such as Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad have been experiencing dry weather conditions since the last 48 hours. Pollution levels have also improved marginally in the entire region due to strong and dry northwesterly winds.
The Air Quality Index is at present oscillating between satisfactory to moderate category, wherein Punjabi Bagh has recorded its AQI at 200, followed by Pusa 165, ITO 256, Mandir Marg 155, Mundka 213, Pawana 255, Narela 191 and Alipur 230.
At present a cyclonic circulation prevails over Punjab and its adjoining areas. A trough is extending from this system across the states of Punjab, Haryana and North Uttar Pradesh. A Western Disturbance can also be seen over central parts of Jammu and Kashmir.
The westerly winds have already been replaced by easterlies, and now we expect rise in day temperatures over most parts of the national capital. Moreover, there are chances of thunderstorm, light rain in parts of Delhi-NCR during late evening hours today.
On February 26, as the cyclonic circulation shifts further eastwards close to Delhi, we expect weather activities to increase. Thus, we expect light to moderate rain with few heavy spells to lash Delhi-NCR tomorrow. The possibility of hailstorm in Delhi and its adjoining areas cannot be ruled out either.
