Delhi weather has been hot with temperatures ranging in the early 40s. Moreover, yesterday, Safdarjung recorded 41.4 degrees Celsius, which is 4 degrees above the normal levels.
However, Pre Monsoon rains are all set to make an appearance over Delhi and the NCR region today, which may result in drop in temperatures. Clouding is already there, and maximums may see a drop below 40 degrees today and tomorrow.
A Western Disturbance is over Ladakh and adjoining areas. Its induced Cyclonic Circulation is over the Northern Plains. Due to its effect, rains will be seen today, possibly thunderstorm with squally and dusty winds. Tomorrow, isolated activity may be seen but nothing significant. After that, dry weather will once again take over.
This could be the last spell for Delhi in April, barring very light activity on April 25. Temperatures may once again increase as the rainy spell comes to an end.
