A Cyclonic Circulation is currently lying over North Andhra Pradesh coast in the middle level. The system is likely to intensify and emerge with the Low-Pressure Area which is likely to form over the North Bay of Bengal. A Trough is also extending from Odisha coast up to North Telangana across South Chhattisgarh and North Telangana.
During the last 24 hours, scattered moderate rains were recorded in parts of North Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The present situation shows that rainfall would continue over North Telangana and North Andhra Pradesh coast for the next couple of days. Hence, it is likely that rain might intensify over the northern parts of the state in the next 24 hours. Places like Kalingapatnam, Vizianagram, Visakhapatnam, Adilabad, Khamam, Ramagundam and Nizamabad will be impacted by these rains.
We are expecting mainly light to moderate rains at many places with heavy rainfall at few places. The intensity would increase after 24 hours and heavy rainfall might occur at some places of Telangana. While Hyderabad will get to see moderate rain and thundershowers on July 2 and July 3.
On the contrary, subdued Monsoon activity will be seen over Rayalaseema. Whereas on July 1 and July 2, the marginal increase in rain will be seen over Rayalaseema.
