Jaipur is all set to get some relief from the intense hot weather conditions, with pre-Monsoon showers making way to the state capital. According to Skymet Weather, convective clouds have developed over the city and rains or thundershowers may begin anytime now.
In fact, Jaipur is already recording dust storm at few places.
A cyclonic circulation has been prevailing over Rajasthan and adjoining areas, which has been infusing some moisture over the region. When the moisture is combined with extremely high day temperatures, this lead to formation of convective clouds.
This is the present scenarios over Jaipur, which has made the weather conditions conducive for some weather activities.
Some places could witness thunderstorm along with lightning strikes. This is also the favourable period for hailstorm.
These activities will usher in some relief from high day temperatures, but the respite would be a momentary one and mercury will once again start rising tomorrow.
“Since these activities occur during the late afternoon or evening hours, they do not have any impact on the day temperatures. But some relief would be on the cards for short duration,” said Mahesh Palawat, Chief Meteorologist, Skymet Weather.
Jaipur has remained dry for the last few days, which has resulted in above normal day maximums. In fact, rest parts of Rajasthan has once again come under the ambit of heatwave.
