Rain, rise in temperatures in Delhi likely; rain to occur over NE, AP, MP, Orissa, Chhattisgarh

Delhi could have rain on Wednesday the 3rd of April. The weather in Delhi today and tomorrow will have partly cloudy skies from this evening onwards. Rain is likely over northeastern states and over eastcentral parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala during the next two days. Temperature is expected to rise in almost entire country in coming two days.

Weather in Delhi today will witness a partly cloudy sky from evening onwards. Temperatures in Delhi would also rise by 2 degrees tomorrow to again drop the next day. Wind conditions in Delhi will be northerly northwesterly till tomorrow afternoon and will become northeasterly easterly and then southeasterly.

Chances of rain in Delhi cannot be ruled out. Rain is also expected on Wednesday afternoon in Delhi. Haryana in northwest plains could also experience showers during next two days starting from tomorrow onwards.

In the north, Jammu & Kashmir will have isolated rain during the next 24 hours. Maximum temperatures in Jammu & Kashmir will drop by up to 5 degrees during the next two days. But the minimum temperatures will continue to remain above average by 2 degrees tomorrow to fall thereafter by the same value on Wednesday. A Western Disturbance is expected to affect the weather of north and northwest India that has an induced circulation over Rajasthan.

Rain is expected to continue over Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Manipur and Tripura during the next 48 hours. A low pressure area that persists from Assam to north Interior Karnataka across Gangetic West Bengal Orissa, Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh is responsible for rain in this region, West Bengal and Sikkim also have rain during the period. Orissa, adjoining region of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh could witness showers at one or two places due to this trough of low pressure area.

Day temperatures are expected to rise in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in central India.  Afternoon in south Peninsula would continue to be warm even if fall in day temperatures are expected.
