Pre-Monsoon season has remained pretty satisfactory for the eastern states of the country particularly Bihar and Jharkhand.
Parts of East India have been witnessing on and off pre-Monsoon rains and thundershowers for the last few days. All thanks to the cyclonic circulation which is persisting over East Bihar and adjoining areas.
The reason for the recent rains, thundershowers along with isolated hailstorm and lightning strikes can be attributed to a trough which is extending from this system up to North Odisha across Jharkhand.
As per Skymet Weather, these rain, thundershowers, and isolated hailstorms along with squalls and lightning strikes are expected to continue for the next 24 hours. Now also, weather conditions will remain favorable over parts of Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, North Odisha, and Jharkhand during the next 24 hours. These regions could also witness moderate to intense lightning strikes and isolated rain, thundershower as well.
