Northeast India has seen lesser rains but then we can expect some good rains and even heavier at some places over parts of Eastern Arunachal Pradesh and Upper Assam today. Rains will be seen more over Arunachal Pradesh today and tomorrow both regions will see some rains.
The valley region will only see light rains and other states will also observe rains on the lighter side. Rains will be confined to the regions of Arunachal Pradesh and Assam.
The reason is that a series of Western Disturbances are moving across Western Himalayas. They keep moving from west to east and one odd system becomes active when they get support from the Bay of Bengal in the form of moist winds.
A remnant in the form of circulation is seen over Sikkim and Assam region. With this, two days' activity is expected and may continue even further for a couple of days.
