As per Skymet Weather, a trough extending from Northeast Bihar to South Chhattisgarh is the reason for the light to moderate rain activities over the southern parts of Chhattisgarh and adjoining Southeast Madhya Pradesh. However, now this weather system has become less marked due to which the rainfall activity is likely to reduce over both the states. Further, no significant weather system is anticipated to prevail as of now.
