The West Coast has been receiving varied intensity of rains from the past many days. The weather conditions are pleasant across the West Coast. At present, there is an absence of any significant weather system across the region.

However, these rains can be attributed to the moist westerlies and north westerlies prevailing above the region. In the last 24 hours from 8.30 am on Wednesday, Ratnagiri recorded 37 mm of moderate intensity rains.
Meanwhile, Honavar witnessed light rain of 15.6 mm, Vengurla 13 mm, Cannur 11 mm, Thane 8 mm, Harnai 4 mm, Alibag 3 mm, Alapuzha and Goa 2 mm of rain. The rain intensity had reduced in the past day.

As per Skymet Weather, rainfall is likely to increase over southern parts of Kerala and Karnataka. Also, scattered moderate rain will occur over Konkan and Goa region will witness light rains mainly with one or two moderate spells.
