Scattered rain and thundershower activities have been occurring over many parts of West and Central parts of Uttar Pradesh yesterday. Now also, conditions are favourable for dust storm along with rain and thunderstorm activities.
A short spell of these activities is expected over west and northwestern parts of Uttar Pradesh until today. Moreover, Dust storm and thundershowers with strong winds (50-60kmph) are expected over Baghpat, Bijnor, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur and Shamli during next 2-4 hours.
By tomorrow, the weather over the state of Uttar Pradesh is expected to go dry as the winds will change direction and become northwesterly in nature. These hot and dry winds will increase temperatures over most parts of the state.
The persisting Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir will move away eastwards and the circulation induced by the system will fade away. Thus, weather will become dry over entire northwestern plains including Uttar Pradesh.
Moreover, the eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh which has been seeing dry weather for the past few days will see no change in weather conditions. Now, as systems up north are not likely to form for the rest of the May.
Thus, with dry weather and clear skies, temperatures will start to see a gradual rise and soon enough, most parts will see maximums above the 40-degree mark. Rainfall activity is likely to be seen again only in the first week of June and that too only over the western and northwestern parts of Uttar Pradesh.
