The state of Uttar Pradesh has mostly remained dry with very little rains making appearance over the region. Western parts of the state had seen some rains due to Western Disturbance and its induced Cyclonic Circulation, however, rains have remained on the lower side only.
Now also, weather is expected to remain dry for the next few days. However, a Western Disturbance is expected to approach the Western Himalayan region around March 11. During that time, a trough is likely to extend up to Uttar Pradesh.
Due to that system, some parts of Uttar Pradesh may see scattered light to moderate rain and thundershowers activities on March 11. Thereafter, this system will move away, and rainfall activity will take a backseat.
A breather is likely for a day after which a feeble Western Disturbance is expected to approach the hills on March 13. During that time, there is a possibility of the formation of a Confluence Zone from Central Uttar Pradesh to East Uttar Pradesh.
Thus, patchy rains are likely to occur over some parts of Uttar Pradesh on March 13 with showers remaining isolated on March 14. Rain intensity will not be much, and only light showers will be seen in some areas. Hailstorm activity is also not possible. Thereafter, weather will once again become dry.
Both maximum and minimum temperatures are currently below normal by 2 to 5 degrees. Thus, weather in Uttar Pradesh will remain pleasant until then and no increase in temperatures is expected. However, after that, temperatures in the state will start to increase and summer may commence.
