Since the last two days, many parts of Uttar Pradesh along with some parts of Bihar have been witnessing scattered rain and thundershower activities.
Now a trough is extending up to eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh from the induced cyclonic circulation which is persisting over Northwest India. Due to these weather systems, we expect scattered light to moderate rain and thundershowers to continue over parts of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar for the next 24 hours. Bihar will however, continue receiving rain and thundershowers for another day.
Meanwhile, weather activity will start clearing from most parts of Uttar Pradesh.
March 1 onward, both the states will begin experiencing dry and cold weather conditions. During this time, minimums in the region will once again drop, while day temperatures will increase.
Further, another spell of rain and thundershower is expected to commence over West Uttar Pradesh on March 2 and by March 3, eastern parts of the state will also start receiving rains. However, during this period, Bihar is likely to remain mainly dry. But isolated light rain in parts of the state cannot be ruled out.
Thus, we can say that the state of Uttar Pradesh is all set to witness two back to back rainy spells. Whereas, Bihar will be receiving weather activity for the coming 48 hours only.
