In South India, during the last 24 hours, South Karnataka, parts of Tamil Nadu and North Coastal Andhra Pradesh received moderate rains with isolated heavy showers. Meanwhile, most parts along the costal stations received light rains.
Telangana remained mainly dry along with northern parts of Karnataka. However, Rayalaseema and Coastal Tamil Nadu witnessed hot and uneasy weather conditions.
In the last 24 hours from 08:30 am on Friday, the capital city of Karnataka, Bangalore that lies in Interior Karnataka recorded 41.6 mm of rain.
The cyclonic circulation as an upper sir system which was over Southeast Tamil Nadu, is currently seen over Rayalaseema and adjoining Costal Andhra Pradesh.
Therefore, we expect rainfall activity to decrease over South Karnataka and Tamil Nadu region. However, North Andhra Pradesh Coast and adjoining Telangana region, rainfall activity will increase.
Rayalaseema will witness scattered light rains. Light rains will also occur over South Karnataka and Tamil Nadu along with isolated places over North Karnataka.
Coastal Karnataka may receive light to moderate rains over few places. Meanwhile, the weather conditions in Costal stations of Tamil Nadu will remain uneasy.
