Every year the month of October showers rains over the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, but this time the month started on a dry note for these two states in South Peninsula as these have remained highly rain deficient, where Telangana has remained deficient by 81% while Andhra Pradesh by 63%.
The two states have been experiencing scanty rainfall for quite some time thereby making the day temperatures to rise above normal.
At present, the weather is dry and warm, but in the coming days, scattered light rains are expected to occur over Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh for next 2-3 days. Due to this phenomenon, temperatures may fall marginally as a result of on and off light rains and cloud cover.
According to Skymet Weather, these rains will commence due to the formation of a confluence zone over Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Thereafter, dry northerly winds will mix with humid winds from south east directions leading to cloud formation and subsidized rain activities. However, these rain activities will not be widespread and will continue to remain light and patchy.
With the system persisting, duration of the weather activities will also be less not leading to any significant fall in the temperatures.
Further, very light rains are expected to occur around October 26 and 27 in some parts of Telangana and Coastal Andhra Pradesh.
In the coming days, we expect weather to become dry once again and temperatures to rise. Hence, the weather of Telangana will become warm and uneasy again, although nights will remain comfortable.
At the end of this phenomenon, no significant improvement in rain deficiency of these states is expected.
