Dry and warm weather has been persisting for the past many days over the state of Gujarat. Not only this, temperatures have also remained on the higher side over the state with rains being absent for a long time now.
However, it seems like some parts of Gujarat won’t have to wait for a long time. Some areas may see light rains with other parts observing dry weather conditions.
Now, a cyclonic circulation has developed over southern parts of Gujarat Coast at mid tropospheric levels. This system is expected to persist for some time. Due to the presence of the cyclonic circulation, light rain is likely over some parts of Southeast Gujarat.
Cities of Nawsari, Valsad, The Dangs, Surat, Vadodara, Bharuch may see light rainfall activity during the next two to three days. Due to this, the maximum temperatures will see a slight drop over these areas.
Rest of the state will be warm and dry as dry winds are prevailing over most parts of this region. Places which will remain dry will see the maximum temperatures settling between 33 and 34 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, cities which will see some rainfall activities, between 30 and 32 degrees.
