The state of Gujarat has been the most deficient pocket during this Monsoon season. Usually also, rains do remain on the lower side but this time, rainfall activity has been on quite a backseat. Southwest Monsoon has covered the state, but significant rains are yet to be seen over the region. Moreover, good rains have only occurred on one occasion and that too, over some parts of South Saurashtra, and South Gujarat.
During the next few days, some rainfall is expected over some parts of the state of Gujarat. In fact, scattered rains may be seen over some parts of South Gujarat and Coastal Saurashtra region. In fact, the entire state of Gujarat will have to wait to receive good rains for at least a week now.

However, hot weather is expected to take a backseat as cloudy weather conditions will persist. In fact, Surat, Bharuch, as well as Valsad may see moderate rainfall while the cities of Mahua, Veraval, Junagarh, Amreli, Kandla and Bhavnagar may see some rainfall activity.
Talking about the city of Ahmedabad, dry weather will persist over the city and residents will have to wait for rainfall activity over the city for some time now.
