Since past one week, Delhi and NCR region has not recorded any major rain activity. The capital of the country has been persevering dry weather conditions. In fact, day and night temperatures have observed an upward trend.
As of now, the maximum temperature over the region is settling at 37-38 degrees. Likewise, the minimums are hovering near 27-28 degrees.

The last 24 hours were also no different and very warm and dry weather prevailed over Delhi and its adjoining regions of Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad and Ghaziabad.
As per Skymet Weather, due to southward shift of axis of Monsoon trough, the temperatures may fall marginally. But as the wind pattern is likely to change from westerlies to easterlies, humidity will increase and all together discomfort will grow.
Weathermen expect scattered light rain and thundershowers over few parts of Delhi and NCR during the next 24 to 48 hours. Intensity of rain will increase by August 23 or 24. During this time we can expect temperatures to drop further.

Consequently the weather will become little comfortable with cloudy sky condition. The next week is expected to be much better for the national capital.
Delhi did witness a mere couple of good spells of rain between August 7 and 10. Thereafter, rains took a back seat with dry weather prevailing over the region.
