Southwest monsoon has bid adieu from the entire country including Maharashtra, with Northeast Monsoon making an appearance over the southern parts of the country.
However, it looks like rains are not yet done with the state of Maharashtra as a low pressure is persisting in the Arabian Sea giving rains over the state. Showers were seen during the last 24 hours as well.
Moreover, many parts of Maharashtra including Vidarbha, North Madhya Maharashtra, and North Konkan region will continue to see light rains for the next 24 hours.
Rains, on the other hand, will be more over South Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, as well as South Konkan and Goa. Today, on the legislative Assembly election day in Maharashtra, we expect there may be some disruption over Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur. Mumbai rains will be light resulting in no disruption at all for the voters casting their vote.
In fact, Sangli has already witnessed very heavy rains yesterday during the evening hours. In fact, moderate to heavy rains have lashed many parts of South Madhya Maharashtra.
In fact, moderate showers with one or two intense spells will continue over South Madhya Maharashtra, South Konkan, and Goa along with some parts of Marathwada.
With these rains and cloud cover, weather in the entire state of Maharashtra is expected to be pleasant for at least 2 days.
