Weather in Rajasthan has remained dry for some time now with rains only have appeared until February 20. While the hills of North India have continued to see showers, plains have seen some kind of a breather with dry weather conditions taking over.
However, these conditions are not likely to stay for a very long time now and rainfall activity will soon start making an appearance over the state of Rajasthan.
These showers will be attributed to the Western Disturbance over Western Himalayas which will approach around February 25. The system will also induce a Cyclonic Circulation over West Rajasthan during the same time frame.
Therefore, West Rajasthan will see some rainfall activity occurring on February 25. In fact, rainfall activity will cover the entire state of Rajasthan by February 26.
Talking about the state of Rajasthan as a while, cities of Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Churu, Alwar, Sikar, Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh and Jaipur will see some rainfall activity. There is a possibility of hailstorm activity making an appearance in some areas including parts of Sikar, Alwar and Jaipur.
Thereafter, rainfall activity will begin to take a backseat by February 27 and dry weather will once again make its presence felt on February 28.
