Rain in Pune to become light, good showers to reappear around August 3

The city of Pune witnessed moderate to heavy rains between July 25 and 26. Moreover, on and off rains have been going on over Pune for the last five days. In fact, today also, there have been scattered rains over Pune and adjoining areas. In fact, Monsoon rains have had a revival over the Madhya Maharashtra region in the last 24 hours.

In the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Sunday, the city of Pune recorded 4 mm of rainfall while the day before that, the city saw 32 mm of rains. In fact, two days ago, Pune recorded heavy showers of 78 mm.

Many parts of Sangli, Satara, Kolhapur, Jalgaon, Malegaon and Nashik have seen good rainfall activities. Presently, the Monsoon surge is active along the West Coast and its effect is seen over Madhya Maharashtra along with Pune.

Therefore, as per weathermen at Skymet Weather, scattered light to moderate rains in Pune will continue today and by tomorrow, rains will reduce and will be light in nature over the city.

Another spell of rains over the city of Pune are expected to reappear around August 3 and 4, due to activation of Monsoon Trough and the development of a Low Pressure Area over Bay of Bengal.
