As predicted by Skymet Weather, Bihar and adjoining Jharkhand are all set to witness fresh spell of rain and thundershowers today.
Thick clouding was seen engulfing several parts of both the states since early morning hours, with rains following soon. Patna, Gaya and Bhagalpur in Bihar have already witnessed light rains, but parts of Jharkhand are yet to see the weather activity.
As per weathermen, weather conditions are conducive for rain and thundershowers over all these places during the day. Intensity of rain would be confined to light to moderate only. Meanwhile, few places might also see isolated hailstorm activities on Monday.

Places including Aurangabad, Banka, Begusarai, Bhagalpur, Bhojpur, Gaya, Jamui, Jehanabad, Kaimur (Bhabua), Katihar, Khagaria, Lakhisarai, Madhepura, Munger, Nalanda, Nawada,Patna, Purnea, Rohtas, Samastipur, Sheikhpura, Vaishali, Balrampur,Bokaro, Chatra, Deoghar, Dhanbad, Dumka, Garhwa, Giridih, Godda, Gumla, Hazaribagh, Jamtara, Kodarma, Latehar, Lohardaga, Pakur, Palamu, Ramgarh,Ranchi, Sahibganj are likely to witness some rains during next 24 hours.

These rains can be attributed to the wind confluence zone formed over the region due to the amalgamation of warm northwesterly winds with humid southwesterly winds.
However, the system is likely to dissipate by tomorrow, resulting which the clear weather conditions will also make a comeback.
