At present, a feeble Western Disturbance is moving across northern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Its associated induced cyclonic circulation is also moving across the northern parts of Rajasthan and Haryana.

Due to the presence of both the above weather systems, moisture level over parts of these state has increase over parts of these states. Due to which even dense fog layer and low clouds were persisting over many places since the last 48 hours.

As the above systems would be moving away east/northeastwards and a fresh system will approach in quick succession, the temperatures will be increasing. Hence, fog layer is expected to weaken.

However, on February 5, under the influence of an active Western Disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir, the induced cyclonic circulation over Northwest Rajasthan will be intensifying.

An upper air trough will be extending from Northwest Rajasthan to Northeast Arabian Sea, due to which warm and moist air mass will be affecting over Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh region.

Between February 5 and 7, northern and eastern parts of Rajasthan and northern and northwestern parts of Madhya Pradesh will experience light to moderate rain and thundershower with gusty winds. While hailstorm may also occur over few of these places.

As this system would be further moving eastwards, on February 8 and 9, northeastern parts of Madhya Pradesh will be experiencing rain and thundershower activities.
