Monsoon 2017 ended on a rainy note for West Bengal including the state capital of Kolkata. Almost all areas of the state had been recording on and off light to moderate rains and thundershowers.
In fact, weather conditions are still favourable for some more rain and thundershowers of varying intensity. All thanks to the cyclonic circulation over Northwest Bay of Bengal. Besides this, another cyclonic circulation is seen over Interior Odisha. A trough is also extending from East Bihar to Odisha near Gangetic West Bengal.
