During the last 24 hours, shallow to moderate fog has been observed over northern parts of Rajasthan. The sky conditions were also obscured over these parts, while dry weather conditions prevailed over rest Rajasthan.
Presently, a Western Disturbance lies over norther parts of Jammu and Kashmir as well as its adjoining region. Its induced Cyclonic Circulation lies over western parts of Rajasthan and adjoining East Central Pakistan. Both the systems are moving in east/northeast directions.
In wake of the above systems, light rain will occur over the state in the next 24 hours. Further, as the time progresses, spread and intensity of these rains will increase and cover western and northern parts of Rajasthan.
Meanwhile, another Western Disturbance will approach in a quick succession. In wake of this system, night temperatures will gradually increase over the southern parts of the state. The residents here will experience mostly dry and comfortable weather. On the other hand, northern parts will witness pleasant conditions with light rains and cloud cover.
These activities will start February 18 onward and continue till February 21 in parts of Rajasthan. During this period, places like Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Pilani, Ganganagar, Suratgarh, Churu, Sikar as well as Alwar will experience light rains.
