Rain in Jharkhand around Feb 23 accompanied with lightning strikes, hailstorm

The state of Jharkhand has been witnessing dry weather conditions for the last couple of days. Before that, there were some rains making appearances over the forest state. However, now, rainfall activity has taken a complete backseat now.

Now, dry weather will continue over the state of Jharkhand until February 23. However, thereafter, rains may once again pay the state a visit around evening hours of February 23. During that time, isolated rains may commence over the state.

Thereafter, the intensity of those rains will see an increase wherein good rainfall and thundershowers along with lightning strikes and hailstorm activities will be seen between February 24 and 26.

During that time, a Cyclonic Circulation is expected to form over Jharkhand and adjoining regions along with which a trough will also extend up to Telangana from this system. Another trough from this system will extend up to Bangladesh across West Bengal.

Therefore, weather activities will be seen over many parts of Jharkhand including the cities of Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Dhanbad, etc. In fact, states of West Bengal and Odisha will also see some rainfall activities during the same time frame.

By February 27, weather system will start weakening and rainfall activity will reduce.
