A Western Disturbance as an upper sir system is seen over Jammu and Kashmir and adjoining region. The trough with its axis persists close to 78 degrees and is extending up to 5.8 km.

In the last 24 hours from 08:30 am on Friday, Dharamshala recorded 7 mm of rain, followed by Shimla and Dehradun 2 mm, Jammu 1 mm and Banihal 0.8 mm.
As this system is still persisting over the area, we expect scattered light rains with few moderate spells to continue over Jammu and Kashmir along with few parts of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand may also witness isolated moderate spells
Isolated hailstorm activity is a chance over the southern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Possibility of landslides is also expected in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
As the Western Disturbance is moving away rainfall activity is likely to reduce further over the Western Himalayas.
