Dry weather has been persisting over the state of Rajasthan for quite some time now. In fact, rains have been missing from the desert state since a long time now. In fact, temperatures have also seen a rise during this time.
Now, the western end of Monsoon trough is expected to shift southward, which presently is running along the foothills of the HImalayas.
Moreover, the upcoming low pressure area over Odisha region will also move in a westward direction. Along with this, a trough is also expected to extend up to West Madhya Pradesh.
Therefore, rains will once again commence over eastern parts of Rajasthan. Meanwhile, West Rajasthan will remain almost dry. These rains are expected to commence by tomorrow leading to an end of the prevailing dry spell.
