Cloud cover has already reduced the temperatures today. Maximums which were settling around 37 degrees Celsius are now settling at 34 degrees Celsius giving some relief to the residents of the city.

Light rains may also make an appearance tomorrow as well clearing away thereafter. These rains can be attributed to the north-south trough extending from Telangana up to South Karnataka across Marathwada and Vidarbha.

These rains are expected to be the first spell of showers during the Pre-Monsoon season. Hyderabad during the month of March does receive some rainfall activity with the monthly mean being 17.8 mm. However, this time, so far in March, Hyderabad has not even recorded a single drop of rain.
