Pre-Monsoon rain and thundershowers have remained absent from the state of Telangana including Hyderabad for almost the entire month of April, so far. With this prolonged dry spell, mercury continued to witness rising trend.
At present, Hyderabad and adjoining districts will continue to struggle with the hot and dry weather for at least next 4 to 5 days. Temperatures across Hyderabad is expected to be 5 degrees above the normal average.
However, now a trough is running along the East Coast across coastal Andhra Pradesh. There will be a gradual shift in the trough towards west, passing through Telangana by April 23 to 24. With this, Skymet Weather foresees some rains paving their way towards Telangana including Hyderabad.
Due to this tough, rain and thundershower activities are possible over Hyderabad city between April 24 and 26 leading to a fall in the temperature. Rainfall is will be short and sharp in nature.
Furthermore, as these rains will be short-lived hence the weather will also start clearing up soon and thus temperatures will once again start rising.
Hyderabad will experience comfortable weather, with the help of above-mentioned formation over the East Coast of the region.
