The state of Madhya Pradesh has seen some rains with heavy showers making an appearance over the northern parts of the state. In fact, three-digit rains have also been some over some areas.
In the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Saturday, Datia recorded a whopping 115 mm of rainfall, Nowgong 88 mm, Tikamgarh saw 71 mm of rainfall, Damoh 33 mm, Khajuraho 10 mm, Guna 22 mm, Sheopur 24 mm, Gwalior 14 mm.
The cyclonic circulation lies over Southwest Uttar Pradesh and adjoining parts of North Madhya Pradesh. Another cyclonic circulation is over North Odisha which is likely to move in a northwestward direction. Under these situations, cloudy sky conditions will persist over the state.
Northern parts of Madhya Pradesh will see moderate to heavy rains during the next 24 hours. Meanwhile, southern parts of the state will see light to moderate rains at some places. Southwest Madhya Pradesh will see mostly dry weather. Significant fall in day temperature is likely over northern parts of the state. After 24 to 36 hours, rainfall is likely to slightly reduce.
During the next 24 hours, cities of Satna, Tikamgarh, Panna, Datia, Rewa, may see heavy rains, while Gwalior, Shivpuri, Morena, Vidisha, Rajpur, Damoh, Siddhi, Jabalpur, etc. will see moderate rains.
