Rains have been lashing the eastern part of the country in full swing. This is the last day of unseasonal rains over the states of Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha region.
During the last 24 hours from 8:30 am on Thursday, Jamshedpur saw a whopping 30 mm of rains, Ranchi saw 26 mm of rains, Bankura 28 mm, Purulia 16 mm, Burdwan 9 mm, and Midnapore 7 mm.
Now rains are on a receding note for the states of Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Odisha. Rains will be confined to West Bengal today and see a reduction thereafter.
