The axis of monsoon trough has already moved towards north of Delhi and the low-pressure area is also moving away. Thus, we expect rainfall activity to reduce over this region.
But due to the moderate westerly winds, comfortable weather conditions will prevail over the area. However, short spells rain will still continue.
Talking about the northwestern plains, North Haryana and East Punjab, will continue to receive light rain spells with isolated moderate showers.
Meanwhile, western parts of Punjab and Haryana will remain mostly dry, but local developments may cause short spell of rain and thundershowers over these areas as well.
