The capital city New Delhi is expected to see rain tomorrow on the 16th of April. There will be light showers with thunder and dust storms at one or two places by tomorrow evening. Day temperatures in Delhi will rise by one or two degrees during the next two days.
Wind conditions in Delhi would be southeasterly as a Western Disturbance is expected over Jammu & Kashmir by tomorrow that’ll have a cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan. The weather system (WD) will move east-northeastwards to affect the plains of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana and west Uttar Pradesh during the next 24 hours.
There would be some clouds in Delhi that can restrict the heat from exiting the atmosphere increasing the day temperatures in next couple of days. Day temperatures would drop in the hills of north India as there will be cloudy weather during the next two days. The plains of northwest India will see a rise in day temperatures during the next two days.
Rain at one or two places in West Bengal, Jharkhand, Orissa and Chhattisgarh and at some places in northeastern states of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura would continue during the next two days. The weather is being brought up by the low pressure area that persists from Assam to Vidarbha across West Bengal, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.
Winds along the upper parts of east coast are southwesterly and they’re reaching up to eastern Himalayan region across West Bengal and Orissa. Bihar and east Uttar Pradesh would receive northwesterly winds.
The winds discontinuity in Peninsular region where westerly winds from the Arabian Sea and easterly winds from the Bay of Bengal continue to meet, maintain the chances of rain at one or two places during the next two days.
Possibilities of thunderstorms along with squalls are high in the country at the moment as constant heating and then sudden drop in temperatures are facilitating vertical movements of cool and warm winds that result in thunder-squalls. Thunder-squalls could be observed at many places in the country including the capital New Delhi in the next two days.
