The state of Bihar has been receiving very good rains since the last two days. Being in the close vicinity, rain intensity has increased over Jharkhand as well, during the last 24 hours.
The reason for these rains can be attributed to theCyclonic Circulation, which was persisting over the eastern parts of Bihar. Now, this circulation has been shifted over Jharkhand. Therefore, we expect light to moderate rain and thundershower activities along with isolated heavy spells over the eastern parts ofBihar and Jharkhandduring the coming week.
According to Skymet Weather, the eastern parts of both the states will witness these activities, while rain intensity would be much lesser over the western areas. In fact, only isolated rains will occur here.
On the other hand, light to moderate rain along with one or two heavy showers are likely over the eastern parts such as Kishanganj, Araria, Katihar, Purnea, Bhagalpur, Banka, Supaul, Khagaria, Sahibganj, Godda, Pakur, Dumka, Dhanbad, Deoghar and Jamshedpur,RanchiandPatna.
In wake of these activities, the temperatures will fall by 2°C to 4°C. In fact, due to rains, temperatures have already dropped by a couple of degrees over Jharkhand.
During the coming week, maximums will mostly settle below 40 degree mark over both the states. However, isolated pockets of the states may continue to record maximums at 40℃ only.
