During the last three to four days, the northern parts of Haryana have received light to moderate rain and thundershower activities. Due to these rains, the temperatures have decreased. Places like Ambala, Yamunanagar, and Kurukshetra were the ones to witness these showers. However, the southern and the central parts of the state remained mainly dry and hot along with windy and dusty conditions.
The reason for these weather conditions can be attributed to the Trough, which is passing through the northern parts ofHaryana. Also, a Western Disturbance is moving across the higher latitudes i.e over North Jammu and Kashmir.
As these systems will persist for some more time, scattered places in the central parts of Haryana may get to see light rain and thundershowers during the next 24 hours. While the southern parts of Punjab will receive dust storm activities for the next 24 to 48 hours. Thereafter, the rainfall activities will increase. Moreover, these rains would be highly beneficial for the crops grown inHaryana.
Places likeAmbala,Yamunanagar, Jind,Kurukshetra, and Karnal may continue to witness light to moderate rain and thundershowers. Meanwhile, places like Sirsa, Hisar, Fatehabad, Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurugram and Rohtak may get to see dust storm, along with windy conditions.
