Rain in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Amreli, Bhuj to give relief from warm weatherThe state of Gujarat observes least weather activity during this period. In terms of rainfall. Moreover, the second half of February begins to show signs of warming as temperatures begin to increase and even settle in the mid-30s at many places. Some parts even observe maximum crossing the 35 degree mark.

Such is the case currently wherein many areas in Gujarat are witnessing maximums above the 35 degree mark which happens to be about 4 to 5 degrees above the normal levels. Meanwhile, the minimum temperatures have also been settling well above the normal levels resulting in very warm weather over Gujarat through days and nights.

Let us take a look at the maximum and minimum temperatures in the last two days:

Any rainfall activity that usually occurs in Gujarat during this time is unseasonable as rain show is not a common affair over the region. However, now, weather gods are all set to give some rains over many parts of Gujarat.

Thus, between February 26 and March 1, many areas in Gujarat including Kutch, parts of Saurashtra as well as Central Gujarat are expected to witness some rainfall activity. The rain show will be more on February 26 and 27, however, there will be some showers on February 28 and March 1 as well.

Cities including Amreli, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bhuj, Mandvi may receive rains while slight possibility of weather activity over Rajkot, Idar and Deesa also cannot be ruled out. During that time, temperatures will witness a drop giving the residents relief from the very warm weather. However, until then, residents will continue to observe uneasiness.
