In the last 24 hours from 8.30 am on Friday, Amritsar recorded light rain to the tune of 0.6 mm. In the similar time frame, Ambala, Ludhiana, and Churu recorded traces of rain. These rains can be attributed to a Western Disturbance which is prevailing over the Western Himalayas and its induced cyclonic circulation over Northwest Rajasthan.
