Plains of North India are all set to see some weather change due to a Western Disturbance, which is over the hills of North India.
Along with this, an induced Cyclonic Circulation is over northern parts of Rajasthan and adjoining Haryana. This weather system will result in some rainfall activity over the plains. There is a possibility of isolated rains over Delhi NCR.
Rainfall activity will be seen over northern parts of Punjab, Haryana, mostly foothills. Cities of Ambala, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Saharanpur, Panchkula, Chandigarh, Kapurthala, Pathankot, Jalandhar, Gurdaspur, Amritsar and Ropad starting today.
Rains over the plains will be seen commencing today, continuing tomorrow as well. Rainfall activity will be seeing a reduction on February 24 and 25. Hailstorm may be seen over the foothills during this period as well.
