These rains were attributed to the induced cyclonic circulation which is over Northwest India. Also, a trough was extending from this system up to Vidarbha across Madhya Pradesh. Moreover, moist winds from the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea were merging over East Madhya Pradesh resulting in a confluence zone over the region.

Now, as per weathermen at Skymet Weather, East Madhya Pradesh is expected to continue witnessing rain as well as hailstorm activity. In fact, moderate to heavy rains with hailstorm will also be observed over Chhattisgarh during the next 24 hours.
